G1Hydraulic system fault diagnostics

Sometimes it's clear the hydraulics aren't working properly, but not why. The machine moves slowly, jerks, the oil overheats. In cases like these we find the cause first and only then repair.

When to get in touch

  • The machine moves slowly or jerks
  • The oil heats up quickly
  • One or more movements are weak
  • The hydraulics are noisy
  • The fault comes back after a repair

How the repair works

  1. A phone call

Call us and describe how the fault shows itself. Often we can already tell you then which unit is worth checking first and what to bring in.

  2. Inspection and testing

We inspect the system or the units you bring in and check how they work. Pumps and motors are tested on the bench.

  3. Finding the cause

We look for the real cause: in the pump, valves, directional control valve, cylinders, hoses, oil or filters.

  4. Repair

We repair or make whatever has failed and explain what to do so the fault doesn't come back.

Why start with diagnostics

If a unit is replaced without knowing the cause, the fault often comes back. Diagnostics lets us repair only what has actually failed.
