P1Hydraulic pump and motor repair
The pump is the heart of a hydraulic system, and a hydraulic motor turns the oil flow into rotation. When a pump or motor starts to whine, overheat or won't build pressure, the machine loses power. Here is how we repair these units at Hidrorema.

When to get in touch
- The pump whines, hums or makes other noise
- The oil heats up quickly
- The machine moves slowly and lacks power
- The pump won't build pressure
- Oil leaks past the shaft seal
How the repair works
Diagnostics
First we find out whether the pump or motor is really to blame. Similar symptoms can also be caused by the valves, the directional control valve, clogged filters or the oil.
Bench testing before repair
We test the pump or motor on the bench to see how it actually performs.
Dismantling and fault assessment
We dismantle and clean the unit and inspect all working parts, bearings, shafts and seals.
Repair
We replace worn parts, bearings and seals. Some parts, such as shafts or bushings, we can make ourselves.
Sourcing equivalents
If the original parts or the pump itself are no longer made, we find a suitable equivalent.
Bench testing after repair
We test the repaired pump or motor on the bench once more and only then return it.
Why finding the cause matters
A pump often doesn't fail on its own. If the fault was caused by contaminated oil or a clogged filter, a repaired or new pump will soon fail again. That is why we recommend checking the oil and filters after the repair.

Frequently asked questions
Do you also repair hydraulic motors?
Yes. We diagnose, bench test and repair hydraulic motors the same way as pumps.
What if the pump is no longer made?
We find a suitable equivalent or make the parts needed.
Do I need to bring the whole machine?
Not always. If you can, bring in only the pump or motor. Not sure which unit has failed? Call +370 686 94743 and we'll advise.
